Parking impacts due to events

Sunday 27th September 2026 there will be the Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon taking place around the city centre.

Please to check for any impacts due to road closures on your way to lessons.

Key dates for swimming lessons

The Learn to swim programme will start back on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and will run until Tuesday 27th July 2027 (dates inclusive).

2026 - 2027 Dates lessons will not be running

• Monday 31st August 2026 (Bank holiday)
• Monday 21st December 2026 - Sunday 3rd January 2027 (dates inclusive)
• Friday 26th March - Monday 29th March 2027 (dates inclusive)
• Monday 3rd May 2027 (Bank holiday)
• Monday 31st May 2027 (Bank holiday)
• Thursday morning adult lessons will not run on the following dates: 22nd & 29th October 2026, 18th February 2027, Thursday 1st & 8th April 2027, 3rd June 2027

Lessons will continue to run during the October, February, Easter and Spring term school holiday periods as before. This doesn't apply for Thursday morning Adult swimming lessons.

Lesson cancellations due events:

Saturday 12th September 2026 - all lessons are cancelled.

Saturday 7th November 2026 and 17th April 2027 for the following lessons:

• All 121/Private Bubble lessons
• 12n Teenagers 1, 12.30 Stage 1, 13.00 Teenagers 3, 13.30 Teenagers 2, 14.00 Beginners, 14.30 Foundation, 15.00 Stage 1, 15.30 Stage 2.

Please be advised that when we cancel lessons on the system, it will ensure that these lessons are not deducted from your payment plans so not credit notes will be required.

Early years 5

Due to essential repairs the movable floor is fixed at 1.1m whilst we await parts to repair the floor. As a result, customers who attend Early years 5 will require the parents to go in the water with them until it can be fixed.

The wait time for parts is currently 6-8 weeks and once they arrive the floor will be operational again.

We apologise for any inconvenience and will update you once the floor has been fixed.

Parking

General parking advice

From Monday 3 August 24/7 parking charges will apply to all vehicles parking on ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ campuses at University Park, Jubilee and Sutton Bonington.

Fixed automated number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras will capture all vehicles as they enter and exit campus and use this information to identify anyone that does not have a valid parking session.

Visitors to our Sports Centres are eligible for two hours free parking when using our facilities – please ensure you log your vehicle registration on the tablet at either reception, the top of the stairs on your way to the Hydro pool or as you walk towards the automatic doors at the pool.

If staying beyond two hours, parking can be purchased via the Ring Go app.
