Reports from the most comprehensive examination to date of children's experiences of police contact and detention in England and Wales are being launched today – Monday 20 July 2026 – at a national event in London. The conference brings together leaders from policing, youth justice, law, and academia to discuss the findings and their implications for future policy and practice.
