Before you arrive
Registration and university email address
Follow the instructions on the university's central Welcome pages before you arrive to make sure you have completed what you need for registration.
Please ensure you register and get your university email address as soon as possible as this will provide you access to our Student Information Hub, in the meantime visit our .
The MSc Welcome programme will run from Monday 21 September to Friday 25 September 2026 and your detailed Welcome programme will be available on these pre-arrival pages on 26 August 2026. Teaching will then start on Monday 28 September 2026.

Once you have registered and have your university email address, you can visit the and familiarise yourself with the content. We have a whole range of information to help you become part of the school's community. It will have information on your Welcome Week, the links to relevant resources and much more.
Careers support
The Business School Postgraduate Careers team are looking forward to welcoming you to the MSc Accelerated Career Leader Programme, which is part of your MSc programme. The Accelerated Career Leader Programme is a career development programme specifically designed for MSc students in the Business School. You will attend a timetabled sessions each week around your course timetable.
Postgraduate careers consultants and support
You will have access to support from a highly qualified team of careers experts from pre-arrival stage through to graduation and beyond. We have experience of supporting students from all over the world and at different stages of their career.

The team also provide a number of events and workshops to support your employability skill development, including networking events, employers events and training from the team and from external providers.

We have made some resources available for you to access before you arrive. You just need to provide some basic details (e.g. email address, name and the course you’ll be joining) to access them. .

You will be supported by our university visa and immigration team through your university experience. As the MSc programme runs from September to September, we expect students to be engaging with their course for the full length of time and remain in the UK while doing so.
