We support students with disabilities, long-term medical or mental health conditions, and specific learning differences (like dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD). We also support those who are currently in the process of being diagnosed with autism or ADHD through the NHS.
It is best to confirm any reasonable adjustments before the start of your course but you can also do this at any point during your studies. It is important to note that reasonable adjustments from school/college do not automatically roll over to university.
Just be aware there are cutoff dates for confirming alternative exam arrangements.
Setting up your Support Plan
To ensure that you have the best possible teaching and learning experience, we will work with you to put a Support Plan in place, tailored to your individual needs. A Support Plan outlines the reasonable adjustments that the university will implement to ensure you can study and learn comfortably, and to help you achieve your full potential at university.
Please follow the steps below to apply for a Support Plan:
Step 1: Gather your supporting documentation

If you're unsure if you have sufficient supporting information for a medical condition, mental health condition, or specific learning difference, please don't hesitate to share what you currently have access to.
Step 2: Log in to Nottingham Hub
Log in to using your university username and password or applicant ID

Step 4: Receive confirmation of your Support Plan
We will create a Support Plan that details your reasonable adjustments. The support we provide will vary by your condition and its impact. This can include adjustments for exams, presentations, practical sessions, and placements. Step 5: Review your Support Plan and meet the team
Current students can request an appointment at any time to talk through the Support Plan and understand how reasonable adjustments work:

You can choose an in-person or an online Teams appointment. In-person appointments are at Cherry Tree Lodge, University Park.
