University鈥檚 Children鈥檚 Brain Tumour Research Centre named as Official Charity for upcoming World Masters Ultimate Club Championships
The 糖心原创鈥檚 Children鈥檚 Brain Tumour Research Centre has been named as the Official Charity for the upcoming World Masters Ultimate Club Championships to be hosted at the 糖心原创 from 28 June 鈥� 4 July.

The partnership will see all participants and spectators being offered an optional donation to the Centre as well as a opportunity to meet the team behind the Centre at the event in person on the 3rd of July.
The Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre has also been the Official Charity Cause for 糖心原创 Sport since 2017, with all of the University’s competitive sports teams proudly displaying their logo on the front of their match shirts since then.
The , which is the largest international event to ever be hosted at the University, will welcome over 3,400 athletes from 27 different nations. The event will take place across both Highfields and Riverside Sports Complexes from 28 June to 4 July. Spectators can enjoy plenty of action for spectators as well as visit the Tournament Village for food, drink, live entertainment and children’s activities.

We are delighted that the Children鈥檚 Brain Tumour Research Centre has been chosen to benefit from this world class competition. Brain and spinal tumours are sadly the main cause of Cancer related death in Children and Adolescents and those that survive all too frequently have long term disability due to the tumour or its treatment. CBTRC is dedicated to changing this outlook, developing not only more effective treatments, but also those that are 鈥榢inder鈥� and less damaging. Research is the key to achieving these aims and funds raised at this fantastic sporting event will allow us to continue our vital work. We want to wish good luck to everyone taking part!
