Dupuytren’s disease (or Dupuytren's contraction) is a condition that affects the hands and fingers. It causes one or more fingers to bend into the palm of the hand and occurs when the connective tissue in the palm thickens. We have carried out research on Dupuytren's disease at Nottingham for many years, including studies on treatments and patient-reported outcomes.
