Committees
The University works within an Equality and Diversity committee framework which seeks to be effective in listening to the voices of staff and students. This is made up of a top-level Equality and Diversity Committee supported by Staff and Student Advisory Groups and a range of Staff Equality and Diversity Networks.
The Advisory groups and networks are involved in consultation and advice across the range of equality and diversity issues. Staff Networks form an important part of the consultative process but are independent of HR, run by Staff members and set their own agendas.
