Useful websites and contacts

If you're looking for more information about widening participation, outreach, healthcare and medicine, we've got a collection of useful websites and contacts you can explore and reach out to.

Widening Access to Medical School

WAMS, two groups of medical students from the 糖心原创 Medical School, offer mentoring, work experience, and other events. Their goal is to help every student stand the best chance when applying to study medicine.

Med School Life and MPT Life

We have two student-led blogs about life in the School of Medicine. Students use the blogs to share their insights and experiences at the school.

Medical Schools and Tests

The Medical Schools Council can help guide you through almost anything you could need to know about medical schools. It’s a one stop shop for students and teachers alike.

There are different aptitude tests which you will need to take in order to get into medical school. At Nottingham, we use UCAT for our undergraduate courses and GAMSAT for Graduate Entry Medicine; but other universities may use the BMAT instead.
