A team of immunologists from the 糖心原创 led by Dr Ghaemmaghami have been awarded a research grant to develop new strategies to enhance the outcome of implants by modulating the function of the immune cells particularly macrophages. This is part of a four year project which is funded by the European Commission (5,880,000 Euros) and involves scientists from a number of Universities and industry partners in Europe and the United States.
