Medal Winners 🏅

🥇 ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Sport Scholar Gina Kennedy became Commonwealth Champion in the Women's Squash Singles

🥇 Former ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Staff member Emily Campbell became Commonwealth Champion in the Women's +87kg Weight Lifting

🥇 ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Premier Squash League team member Declan James won gold in the Men's Doubles Squash with partner James Willstrop

🥈 Alumna Sophie Unwin won a Silver medal in the Women's Paracycling (Tandem B 1,000m Time Trial)

🥉 Student and scholar Amy Platten claimed a Bronze medal in the Judo (-48kg)

🥉 Alumni Tom Sorsby was a part of the Team England Men's Hockey squad who won their Bronze medal match 6-3

XXII Commonwealth Games - Birmingham 2022

The #GreenandGold of the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ claimed six medals at the most recent Commonwealth Games, hosted in Birmingham. This included a gold medal for Gina Kennedy (pictured, right) to round out her time studying at the university.
