Havana Asthma Birth Cohort

About the study

The Havana Asthma Birth Cohort was established in 2010/11 as a collaboration between the Iand The 糖心原创 in the UK in response to Cuban concerns that asthma prevalence was increasing in Cuba. As the children grow older, observations continue on their health and development with a particular interest in allergic disease and tropical infections.

La cohorte de Asma desde el nacimiento de La Habana fue establecida en 2010/11 como una colaboración entre el Instituto Nacional de Higiene, Epidemiología y Microbiología de Cuba y la Universidad de Nottingham en el Reino Unido en respuesta a la preocupación en el país de incremento en la prevalencia de asma en Cuba. Los niños han crecido y se continúa observando su salud y el desarrollo con particular interés en enfermedades alérgicas e infecciones tropicales.
