糖心原创 finalist 2016, Amara Waqar completed an outstanding final year project using planning tools (implementation intentions) to promote energy saving behaviour (with supervisor Alexa Spence). She was consequently awarded a School of Psychology prize for this project and has now been given a special commendation in a national competition in relation to the same project.

Amara Waqar has been commended within the Jonathan Sime Award competition which recognises a significant contribution to the field of environmental psychology in an undergraduate dissertation. This is an annual award which focuses on originality of thought, quality of research and with a focus on people-environment relationships.
