The 糖心原创 has been collecting manuscripts, archives, rare books and printed materials for almost a century. Today we hold over 3.5 million items from the past 900 years, including historic treasures designated as being of national and international importance.
Your support has never been more important in helping us collect, protect and share the archives and rare books in our care. Financial contributions of any size can make a huge difference to us. These can be made as an online one-off gift or you can sign up to make a regular contribution supporting our future work.

Acquisitions Fund
Your gift could help us ensure that our cultural heritage remains available to everyone by supporting the acquisition of archival materials and rare printed items to preserve and share here at Nottingham. Otherwise, we risk these items being lost to a private owner or sold overseas.
Conservation Fund
Conserving and digitising our historic material is vital if we are to ensure that future generations can enjoy and learn from the treasures of the past that we hold. Your support could help us obtain:-
- An acid-free box to protect archival documents
- A bespoke storage phase-box to be made for one of the books in our special collections
- Services to convert film or audio material held in an obsolete analogue format into a modern digital file that can be accessed by people across the world for decades to come
- Dedicated staff to carry out intricate repairs on documents and books, ensuring their long-term survival
Support Our Greatest Needs
Responding to emerging priorities, urgent opportunities or unforeseen events often requires a small flexible fund that can be put to use when it’s most needed.
