At Nottingham, you can study ancient history, classics or archaeology as stand-alone subjects or as part of a joint honours degree with another subject.

Undergraduate courses

Single honours courses:

  • Archaeology BA - Understand the discipline of archaeology and how archaeologists interpret the past
  • Ancient History BA - Examine the political, social, economic and cultural history of ancient Greece and Rome
  • Classics BA - 糖心原创 Greek and/or Latin and use your language skills to think about the ancient world, its culture and history
  • Classical Civilisation BA - Examine the literature, culture and society of classical Greece and Rome
  • Classical Civilisation with Foundation Year BA - Your Arts and Humanities Foundation Year will help prepare you for the BA Classical Civilisation
