Congratulations to , who was one of the Vice-Chancellor's Medal winners for 2016.
Linda was awarded this prestigious prize for establishing a UK charity to support , a small NGO which works to promote sanitation, education and health in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Her enthusiasm has inspired a number of initiatives in collaboration with the University, including establishing a healthcare electives programme and supporting joint projects between nursing and engineering students. Linda has also organised the School of Health Sciences team in the Robin Hood Half Marathon, , which has made a real difference to local communities in Ghana.
