This is one of a number of courses offered as part of the Nottingham ESRC Doctoral Training Programme. The course considers exploring the philosophical and practical foundations for using mixed methods in health research. Mixed methods research is explored by considering issues around conceptualising and designing mixed methods research to selecting methods, analysing and interpreting data and reporting findings. The course is delivered online with live workshops on two separate days with pre-recorded lectures and group work to be completed prior to the workshops.

This course is delivered entirely online with pre-recorded lectures, small group work and two live online workshops.
