Section 9 - Staff
The Council may appoint Staff, and prescribe their powers, duties and terms and conditions of service.
Academic staff shall have freedom within the law to question and test received wisdom and to put forward new ideas and controversial or unpopular opinions, without placing themselves at risk of losing their jobs or privileges at the University or the likelihood of their securing promotion or different jobs at the University being reduced.
Provision shall be made in the Ordinances in respect of discipline, dismissal, redundancy, and grievances
