Mr Turner is primarily involved with developing integrated methods of formative feedback and assessment using new and innovated ICT based techniques. The objective is to design teaching and learning techniques that encourage students to work independently, devise solutions using their own cognitive abilities and generate truly effective learners.

Distance learning methods that are 'interactive' have become particularly important and different methods of allowing students to learn using various multiple intelligences whilst not confide solely to a lecture theatre are a under investigation.
