A self-sufficient village within the city, harmoniously integrated with nature and designed to be gradually reclaimed by the natural environment over time. This vision will initially manifest through the creation of wetlands and may evolve to include areas that become derelict and abandoned in the future. The village will be a multi-generational community, offering spaces tailored to different age groups, fostering growth, work, living, and coexistence. It will promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas across generations. The concept of “Architecture as a Plant” will be central to this project. Just as a plant grows from its roots and spreads knowledge through its leaves and flowers, this village will link various areas and age groups. The older generations will nurture and share their wisdom with the younger ones. The architectural design will reflect these principles by incorporating permeable ground floor spaces that facilitate activity and learning, which in turn will energize the building vertically. This approach will create interconnected clusters that blend living spaces with dynamic, knowledge-sharing environments at the ground level.
