Biography
Before re-joining the School of Economics as a Teaching Associate in 2024, Aisha worked as a Research Fellow at the Rights Lab after completing her PhD (2017-2022). She was also a WBG Africa Fellow/Consultant at the World Bank (2021-2024), a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Fellow at the Nottingham School of Economics (2018-2022), and a Lecturer at two Nigerian Universities (2013-2017).
Expertise Summary
Her expertise includes Development Economics and Applied Microeconomics. She is interested in health inequalities, social inclusion, welfare and livelihoods of disadvantaged populations in the Global South (including people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, women, and migrants).
