Join us on Wednesday 23 October for Future Makers: Robotics and Emerging Technology, a brand new and free event exploring what the future has to offer and celebrating innovation!
Open to all ages, but perfect for children and young people aged 7-16, this event offers a unique chance to engage with scientists from the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ and local enthusiasts as they showcase their work in robotics and cutting-edge technology.
Attendees at this free, family-friendly event can explore interactive exhibits, participate in hands-on activities, and create themed crafts to take home. Whether you're curious about robotics, what to know more about future technology or just love to tinker, this event promises a fun and educational experience for all.
• meet Matilda, the legendary House Robot from UK TV show Robot Wars; • pilot robots in the pop-up arena; • discover Collaborative robots (cobots) from the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´’s pioneering Cobot Maker Space; • interact with cutting-edge technologies, including robotics, and 3D printers • learn about exciting new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects; • crafting activities, workshops, demonstrations and more!
