A research monograph "Introduction to FAN (Fuzzy logic, AI and Neurocomputing) in CI", co-authored by Profs. Hirota, Bargiela and Takahashi has been translated into Chinese and published as a textbook for doctoral students. The book was originally published in English and Japanese and won the 2005 Best Book award from the Japanese Society for Soft Computing, Japan.
