Kaleidoscope
As part of the university's celebration of diversity and commonality in this year's Interfaith Week, the Faith and Chaplaincy Team will be relaunching our Kaleidoscope project to help grow understanding with both staff and students.
A person’s religion or belief identity is multi-dimensional. Our individual lens on the world is composed of memories, emotions, cultures and personal journeys merging to form beautiful patterns and perspectives, just like a kaleidoscope.
The Kaleidoscope Project will partner you with someone of a different belief and support you to:
- Increase your interfaith and intercultural understanding
- Promote positive interfaith relations on campus
- Learn about someone else’s religion or belief identity
- Explore your own self-understanding
Open to all students and staff of any faith or none.

Festival of Lessons and Carols 2026
Our annual service of readings and familiar carols unfolding the Christmas story.
Students and staff are involved in the programme through music, song, readings and hospitality.The event combines a wonderful mixture of music, traditional choral and contemporary Christmas songs. All who attend are also invited to enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and other seasonal refreshments following the service.
All donations for Nottingham Refugee Forum accepted at the conclusion of the service.
