One major way for academics to get public policy impact with their research and expertise is through UK Parliament which scrutinise the policy and practice of Government, and seek evidence from members of public. The also has formal committees and consults experts on topical issues and new regulations.
Numerous academics at the 糖心原创 submitted written evidence that informed the final committees' reports or were invited to give oral evidence. The topical issues our experts discussed included the future uses of autonomous vehicles, unsafe discharge from NHS hospitals and the consequences of Brexit for public procurement legal standards.
