Research Summary

Mt St Helens: The lasting effects of the 1980 volcanic eruption on the North Fork Toutle River.

This project aims to explore the sediment transport of the North Fork Toutle River, post 1980 Mt St Helens eruption, and the strategies implemented to prevent the sediment transport downstream. To do this, total station and remote sensing data will be analysed, with regard to the geomorphic change of the river channel on a spatial and temporal scale.
