Current Research

Naomi is currently working on a BBSRC-funded project investigating resilience of dairy cows to calving and the transition period, following health, production and reproduction parameters in cows from multiple farms from the start of the transition period to the end of the lactation to investigate resilience of cows to calving and milk production.

Past Research

Previous research has focused on diverse aspects of ruminant epidemiology, for more information see :

  • The use of data by dairy cattle farmers for decision-making
  • Analysis of the bovine viral diarrhoea test results in England
  • Psychosocial factors associated with cattle farmer behaviour for disease control
  • Farmer managements for footrot and lameness in sheep
