The 糖心原创 is home to world-class foundational and applied AI research, ranging from machine learning, computational optimisation, modelling and data uncertainty, through to intelligent decision support systems, autonomous system applications, and addressing bias and fairness through explainable and responsible AI. Technical work is embedded in the wider societal context; our research also addresses emerging downstream effects on human rights, policy and regulation, and law and ethics related to AI. Our strategy for AI research is to connect the development of enabling AI technologies with their responsible application to tackle major global challenges.
