This Nottingham Research Fellowship investigated the role of the built environment in our interaction with personal data.

There is particular emphasis on the feedback loops that are created when architectural adaptivity is linked to personal data and on the role of the built environment in the path of personal data becoming big data to be stored, mined and re-used. The project was driven by prototyping and framed by fieldwork and theoretical enquiry in collaboration with internal and external partners.
