A public lecture was delivered in Ludlow by Dr Jayne Carroll and Dr John Baker on 16th March 2016 to accompany the Place-Names of Shropshire exhibition. Titled 'South Shropshire place-names: language, landscape, history', the content was tailored to interest an audience local to Ludlow and garnered much positive feedback and local media coverage.
