Barbara Matthews and Dr. Peter Kirwan
On Tuesday 12th March, the School celebrated the launch of Dr. Peter Kirwan’s new book Shakespeare in the Theatre: Cheek by Jowl (Bloomsbury, 2019).
Peter was in conversation with Barbara Matthews, founding executive director of , and the two shared stories and reminiscences about Cheek by Jowl’s early years, importance to European theatre, and their future and legacy.
