Poets reading at Lunch Poems
On Wednesday 27th March, Lunch Poems, a student run poetry open mic event in collaboration with the took place.
This wonderful afternoon was filled with fantastic poetry written and read by students from the School of English. The special guest for the event was Nottingham poet , who uses spoken word and poetry to raise awareness about mental health. Fairman shared her experience with poetry in addition to performing.
This successful event will hopefully be the first of many in providing our creative community the opportunty to share and listen to each others' work.
