The month of June has seen two major new publications in Viking Studies involving authors from the CSVA.

The Viking Diaspora, a monograph by Professor Judith Jesch, is published by Routledge.

Also published in June is The Vikings in Ireland and Beyond (). This contains an article by Dr Christina Lee on 'Costumes and contact: evidence for Scandinavian women in the Irish Sea region'. The collection also has its origins in the Midlands Viking Symposium of 2011 which took place in Dublin, organised by Dr Lee with colleagues from Dublin.
