PhD student wins First Prize at BACR Special Meeting 2013, Bristol

The Cancer Biology Unit within the Division of Oncology would like to congratulate PhD Student, , on winning first prize in the poster competition at the British Association for Cancer Research (BACR) 2013 Special Meeting. Over the two-day event the poster entitled Improved orthotopic and metastatic breast cancer models, enabling translation into patient-relevant drug testing, was chosen by the judges to win the top prize.

Also at the event gave a presentation detailing some of the more clinically-relevant tumour models inlcuding a stromal cell component that her research group, within Cancer Biology, has been developing.
