Celebrating LGBT History Month, the Centre for Research in Race and Rights presents

Screening of No Easy Walk to Freedom followed by a Q&A session

No Easy Walk to Freedom (Dir. Nancy Nicol), tells the story of the struggle to strike down section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which criminalises same-sex sexual behaviour in India.

After the film Paul J Dillane, Executive Director of the Kaleidoscope Trust, a member of the Commonwealth Equality Network and a long-time advocate of LGBTQ+ rights will be in conversation with Ibtisam Ahmed, Commonwealth Decriminalisation Campaign Coordinator, Nottinghamshire Pride.
