This project aims to scope the design of a basic web app (known as a ‘wire frame’) suitable for use on a mobile phone that domestic workers could use to self-diagnose the risk of labour abuse or exploitation that they may be experiencing and which can signpost them to appropriate help and support.Research conducted by the Rights Lab in collaboration with specialist NGO community groups representing domestic workers has revealed persistent and severe levels of labour exploitation among domestic workers in the UK. This project will provide evidence for and the specification of an app for subsequent development.
