Dr. Martin Hughes works on model optimisation under uncertainty, involving the use of both genetic programming techniques and generative AI models. His background is in the development of simulation models, tools and associated analyses, to support evidence-based decision-making. His research within the Rights Lab has included the development of tools and models to analyse and quantify forced labour risk across a wide range of business supply chains.
