The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)-funded Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M4C) is an AHRC-funded collaboration between the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, University of Warwick, Coventry University, De Montfort University, University of Leicester, Nottingham Trent University and the 糖心原创. M4C provides combined research expertise for the professional and personal development of the next generation of arts and humanities doctoral researchers. For 2025 Midlands4Cities will offer fully funded PhD studentships for eligible students in arts and humanities through an . The School is inviting applications from candidates whose research interests connect with our fields of expertise in depth, in: • political theory, especially projects concerning political ideologies, time, freedom and slavery, and existential risk;• the history of international relations, especially concerning intelligence, economic statecraft, warfare and British foreign and security policy.
