Current Research

I'm interested in the factors which allow pluripotent stem cells to develop into intestinal tissue. As well as investigating chemical stimuli, I'm exploring how spatial factors affect cell "stemness" and differentiation. I'm also investigating how the cells interact with different materials as a means of creating an artificial graft of intestinal tissue.
