Assistant Professor,
I obtained my Ph.D. in Stem Cell and Cancer Immunotherapy from International Medical University, Malaysia while working as a trainee lecturer there. After completing my Ph.D. I worked as a lecturer and started supervising undergraduate students from medical, pharmacy and life sciences programs. Subsequently, I received training on induced pluripotent stem cells at the Center for IPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University, Japan. Prior to join the 糖心原创 Malaysia, I had worked in National Institutes of Health as well as a senior lecturer in SEGI University, Malaysia. I was mainly involved in teaching Immunology, Pathology and Physiology modules for medical, dentistry, optometry and life sciences students, as well as Master of Science students.

As a new faculty in UNM, at the moment, I am involved in the teaching of Microbiology (LIFE 2102), Biochemistry of Disease (LIFE 3054) and Therapeutic Immunology (LIFE4130) modules for biomedical sciences students.
My previous PhD project was focused on generation of genetically engineered stem cells and study their efficacy against breast cancer. My research areas of interest are primarily on stem cell immunology, cell based therapy and cancer immunotherapy. My current works include development of gene modified cell based therapies for various cancer and lineage differentiation of reprogrammed stem cells for regenerative medicine.
