The winner of the UK & Ireland Controlled Release Society’s new Summer Studentship award is Zhiyuan Kok, a third year MPharm student at the 糖心原创. Zhiyuan is extremely passionate about science and has already attended the Nobel Prize ceremony in 2008, after winning a national science competition. Under the supervision of Dr Giuseppe Mantovani, Zhiyuan will be conducting a six week project on the topic 'Synthesis of Multivalent Glycopolymers for Selective Lectin Targeting' based in the Division of Drug Delivery & Tissue Engineering in the School of Pharmacy.
