The General Pharmaceutical Council has today for all schools of Pharmacy for 2011-14. This is the first time that these results have been published.

In order to be eligible to register as a pharmacist in the UK, students who graduate from an MPharm programme must complete a year of assessed pre-registration training before taking the pre-registration exam.

The School of Pharmacy at Nottingham came joint 1st in 2013 (90%) and joint 3rd (96%) in 2014. Head of School Professor Clive Roberts said:

"I am delighted that the GPhC has decided to publish results of the pre-registration exam. Along with information already available on employment rates it provides students with a key quality indicator when choosing where to apply to study an MPharm degree."

2016 will see the first students graduate from our innovative, new four-year MPharm curriculum and they will take their pre-registration exam in 2017. In the same year the first students from our sector-leading integrated five-year MPharm, in which the pre-registration year is incorporated into the programme, will graduate and take their pre-registration exam.
