Professor Martyn Davies has been awarded the 2008 Distinguished Service Award from The Controlled Release Society (CRS), the major international society dedicated to drug delivery. Martyn was the co-founder of the UK Chapter of the CRS, won the CRS Young Investigator Award in 1997 and was the CRS Scientific Secretary from 2001 to 2007.
