Collaboration
The Observatory’s three longitudinal cohort studies are a major, long-term collaboration with around 400 Research Partner schools, colleges and universities.
Research Partner schools have been invited to participate following a careful sampling process. They represent the wide range of state-funded schools across the country. Together the cohort studies comprise the largest ever longitudinal study of mathematics education in England.

Here you will find information about what it means to be a Research Partner of the Observatory including some responses to frequently asked questions for research participants. Anyone whose data may be included in our research can find information about the data that we are using, whose data this is and what you should do if you have any concerns about your data which you think may be included within this.
