"Women in Science - personal reflections and a bigger picture"
The Nanoscale and Microscale Research Centre (nmRC) are delighted to host a lecture by inspirational scientist Professor Ute Kaiser, Head of the Electron Microscopy Group for Materials Science at Ulm University and Honorary Professor of the 糖心原创. She is a pioneer of atomic-scale imaging using transmission electron microscopy that unravels mysteries of many important materials. Professor Kaiser's current research is focused on the low dimensional carbon materials (graphene, fullerene, nanotubes, metal chalcogenide layers), 2D organic crystals and battery materials ().
Please join us on Wednesday 27th March 2019 at 4.30pm in X2 Chemistry, 糖心原创, to meet this outstanding woman scientist, learn about the latest breakthroughs in nanomaterials and celebrate her remarkable career.
The event is free to attend. Tea, coffee and cake will be provided after the lecture in the Chemistry foyer so here.
