After 18 years as Registrar of the 糖心原创, Dr Paul Greatrix will be leaving the University at the end of the year.

Commenting on his departure and time at the University, Paul said: “I am really grateful for the support of colleagues across the University, and especially in the Registrar's department. It has been a genuine privilege to work with the most incredible colleagues across the whole University; in professional services, schools, faculties and Malaysia and China.
"The 糖心原创 is truly a special place and will go from strength to strength in its next phase. I have been proud throughout my time at Nottingham to have supported the achievements of the many talented and dedicated colleagues across the Registrar's department.
“Colleagues and leaders past and present have made these services what they are today, contributing to delivering the University mission – it has been wonderful working with them. There have of course been plenty of challenges along the way, but the positives have always outweighed the difficulties, even at times of greatest challenge.鈥�
“The establishment of a Graduate Trainee programme, the launch of the Nottingham Advantage Award, and working alongside successive Students' Union officers have been particular highlights for me.
“I have been privileged to be a small part of many wonderful events at the University over the past 18 years, in the UK, Malaysia and China. Nottingham is now entering a new phase and I know colleagues in professional services across the whole university will continue to deliver and achieve even more into the future as part of Future Nottingham."

In addition to his work at Nottingham, Paul is respected around the sector for his national and international activities, including his Presidency of HUMANE, his Honorary Secretary role for AHUA, his previous chair role of Russell Group Registrars and his work within U21.
Paul鈥檚 blogging and podcasting on all matters related to Higher Education have informed and entertained many of us, inside and outside Nottingham. Paul will be hugely missed across the University and we wish him well for the future.
