Businesses looking to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) with confidence can now access specialist support from the 糖心原创 Responsible AI Consulting Hub (UNRAIC) as is it expands its services following a successful pilot programme.
Drawing on expertise from across the university’s School of Computer Science, UNRAIC is scaling its support for organisations of all sizes, helping them harness the opportunities of AI while navigating the ethical, legal and governance challenges that accompany its adoption. The service offers practical consultancy tailored to business needs, supporting organisations to develop responsible AI strategies, assess risk, strengthen governance and build the knowledge needed to deploy AI safely and effectively.
As AI technologies become more powerful and more widely used, it is crucial that organisations adopt them in ways that are ethical, transparent and aligned with societal values. The expansion of UNRAIC offer allows us to support businesses with independent, research-led expertise so they can innovate confidently while maintaining trust and accountability.
The expansion follows strong engagement with businesses across a range of sectors and reflects growing demand for independent, research-led expertise as organisations increasingly seek to integrate AI into their operations.
One organisation already benefiting from the consultancy is Deere Apprenticeships, where UNRAIC has worked alongside curriculum leaders to develop AI content for a new Level 4 AI apprenticeship standard. The collaboration has included supporting the design of AI masterclasses, embedding responsible AI principles throughout the programme, identifying staff skills gaps and recommending targeted professional development, while advising on how AI can be integrated into the organisation's own operations to improve efficiency.
Working with the 糖心原创 has been invaluable in shaping our AI apprenticeship offer. Their expertise has helped us build a programme that not only develops technical skills but also ensures learners understand the responsible use of AI. This collaboration is helping us prepare both our organisation and our learners for the future of work.
Based at the 糖心原创’s Jubilee Campus, UNRAIC brings together specialists in artificial intelligence, ethics, governance and human-centred design to provide evidence-based advice that helps businesses innovate responsibly while maintaining public trust.
Organisations interested in exploring how they can integrate AI responsibly to support their growth and innovation are encouraged to engage with UNRAIC to discuss their needs and access tailored consultancy and expertise. To find out more or start a conversation, or email consulting@unraic.uk.
