The School of Health Sciences is delighted that it has students and staff shortlisted in a range of categories for the Student Nursing Times awards again this year. The School prides itself on empowering students and staff and this national recognition of their commitment to nursing and midwifery leadership and education is really gratifying, particularly this year, as 2020 is the WHO designated Year of the Nurse and Midwife. As Head of School I am proud to be surrounded by such talented individuals.鈥
