Biography

Sophie is a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Academic Primary Care. Her research focuses on helping people lead healthier lives, with a particular interest in reducing the harm of smoking in pregnancy. She has been involved in research examining smoking cessation in pregnancy, nicotine replacement therapy in pregnancy, e-cigarette use in pregnancy, secondhand smoke exposure in infants and postpartum smoking relapse prevention.

She has a PhD in Primary Care from the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´, and her background is in Health Psychology. She has expertise in mixed methodologies within applied health research, including systematic reviews, surveys, advanced statistical analyses, and qualitative research.
