Biography

Dr. Kaushik Chattopadhyay is an academic with an exclusive dual degree, European Master in Public Health, fully funded by the European Commission under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Grant Programme and coordinated by the EHESP French School of Public Health (France). The dual degree comprises of Master of Public Health (Distinction) from The University of Sheffield (UK) and MSc in Public Health - Health Economics and Financial Management (Distinction) from the Jagiellonian University (Poland). He has also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Skills at St. George's, University of London (UK), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), which were funded by his employers. He is also a registered medical doctor by profession. He completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery at the University of Calcutta (India) where he was ranked in the university.

Dr. Chattopadhyay possesses several years of experience in research and teaching, particularly in the UK and Asian countries like India, Nepal, China and Bangladesh. In the past, he has worked at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK), King's College London (UK), St. George's, University of London (UK), The Royal Institute of International Affairs (UK), and NHS Suffolk (UK). He has also worked as a clinician at some of the busiest government hospitals in Kolkata (Calcutta, India).

He also used to teach on the Public Health Analyst Course at the Eastern Region Public Health Observatory (UK).
