Current Research

Priya completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the 糖心原创 School of Psychology. She currently works at the Institute of Mental Health, as she is passionate about improving mental health treatment and support for all, with a particular interest in mood and anxiety disorders.

Priya is currently a Research Assistant on:

  • The P1Vital GAINS 糖心原创 ( evaluating a novel gameplay intervention which aims to reduce intrusive memories in healthcare staff)
  • The ARC EM Well at Work study (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy versus Stress-Reduction Psychoeducation for staff groups)

Previous work has included:

  • The Alpha-Stim-D Trial ( evaluating the effectiveness of cranial electrotherapy stimulation as a treatment for patients with depression)
  • ROWTATE ( developing a package to support people with their return to work following a traumatic injury)
